KOVE Rally Factory Team is a core part of KOVE’s global racing program, competing in the world’s toughest rally-raid events, including the Dakar Rally, Taklimakan Rally, and Rallye du Maroc.
Built around the KOVE 450 RALLY EX platform, the team tests performance, reliability, and endurance in real desert racing conditions. From full-team Dakar finishes to China’s best motorcycle result at Dakar, the team continues to prove KOVE’s strength on the world stage.

Sunier | Chinese
Chinese rider Sunier is a multiple domestic desert and motocross champion. Since joining KOVE in 2020, he has represented the team at Dakar from 2023 onward, finishing P46 overall in 2023, P37 overall in 2025, and P35 overall in 2026, with a personal-best P24 stage finish in SS10. His steady progress and resilience have made him a key part of KOVE’s rally program.
Neels Theric | French
French rider Neels Theric delivered KOVE’s best Dakar result with P15 overall in 2025, the best overall Dakar result ever achieved by a Chinese motorcycle brand. In 2026, he claimed R2 class stage victories in SS4, SS5, and SS8, with the SS4 win marking the first-ever Dakar R2 stage victory for a Chinese motorcycle brand.

RALLYE DU MAROC MILESTONES
2025
KOVE Factory Team completes the 2,274 km Rallye du Maroc, with Neels Theric taking SS5 P9 and finishing P12 overall. Sunier finishes P41 overall.
2024
KOVE Rally Team completes the final round of W2RC, with Fang Xiangliang finishing R2 P16 and P28 overall. Sunier finishes R2 P19 and P32 overall.
Taklimakan Rally 2026
KOVE 450 RALLY EX claims 5 stage wins and secures P2 & P3 overall in the motorcycle category after 17 days and approximately 7,500 km of extreme rally racing.
Dahaidao Rally 2025
KOVE 450 RALLY EX completes a dominant performance, claiming Group A Champion, Group B Champion, No-Support Champion, and Team Cup Champion across a grueling seven-day rally.
