KOVE Achieves Strong Results at Red Bull Romaniacs 2026

Red Bull Romaniacs 2026 has once again confirmed its reputation as one of the world’s toughest hard enduro rallies.

Held in Romania’s Carpathian Mountains, the event challenged riders with steep climbs, technical sections, deep ravines and extreme terrain. 11 KOVE riders competed across the Adventure Ultimate, Adventure Core and Adventure Lite categories on the KOVE 800X Rally and 800X Pro.

Against some of the world’s most experienced adventure riders, KOVE achieved impressive results, with 5 riders finishing inside the overall Top 10 across different categories.

Adventure Ultimate
Tomaz Jernejsek — P8 Overall.
Greg Gordinne — P9 Overall
Michal Fujak — P14 Overall.

Adventure Core
Kamil Bałkowski — P5 Overall
Nikolaus Häring — P8 Overall
Joop Nissink showed remarkable determination. After his motorcycle fell approximately 30 metres into a ravine on Offroad Day 2, Joop lost valuable time recovering the bike and solving technical issues. Returning for the final stage on Offroad Day 4, he delivered an impressive P6 finish.

Adventure Lite
Michał Wantola completed a strong race with P7 Overall, including a P4 stage finish during the event.
Paweł Wójcik and Tomasz Wróblewski both fought through the demanding conditions to reach the finish. Rick Smits showed strong pace in the early stages of the event and continued pushing despite the challenges before injuries from a crash forced him to withdraw. His determination and commitment throughout the rally deserve great respect.

Proven in Extreme Conditions
Red Bull Romaniacs represents one of the ultimate tests for both riders and motorcycles.
Throughout four demanding days of competition, KOVE riders demonstrated the performance, reliability and capability of the 800X Rally and 800X Pro in some of the most challenging riding conditions in the world.
