KOVE ITALIA at ISDE 2025: A Legendary Debut in Bergamo

From August 24 to 29, 2025, the city of Bergamo hosted the prestigious International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE) , the world's oldest and most iconic off-road motorcycle competition, first held in 1913 and often referred to as the “Olympics of Enduro.”

For KOVE, this marked a true first: a brand-new racing context where bikes developed for long-distance rally raid took on the steep, muddy trails of the Bergamo mountains. It was a symbolic moment, a step from the desert into extreme enduro, from African sands to Lombard rock and mud.

A challenge that aligned perfectly with KOVE's philosophy: Focus on Performance.

    Three Riders. One Goal.

KOVE lined up with three riders of different backgrounds but one shared mission: to demonstrate that KOVE machines could hold their own beyond the open deserts.

Cesare Zacchetti, seasoned by the Dakar, delivered a composed, consistent ride aboard the 450 Rally EX, the same bike used in the last Dakar Rally. Through rocky climbs and deep mud, Zacchetti reached the finish line without a single mechanical issue. A clear proof of reliability from both rider and machine.

Andrea Gava, the youngest rider on the team, impressed with his calm execution and resilience. Piloting the 450 Rally, a model better suited to fast desert stages than narrow mountain routes. He completed all six days with confidence, confirming himself as a rising figure in Italy's off-road scene.

Matteo Bottino, riding the 800X Rally, a bold choice in a field of lighter bikes. Bottino retired on Day 3 after a rock impact caused terminal damage. A tough exit, but one of ISDE's most talked-about stories.

2 out of 3 Bikes Finished the Race

By the end of the week, KOVE ITALIA had strong results to show:

Two of three bikes crossed the finish line, with both 450 Rally models proving reliable, capable, and competitive under some of the harshest conditions.

While the 800X Rally was unable to complete the race, its bold entry served as a clear symbol of KOVE's spirit: to venture where others won't.

The team received enthusiastic support from the public, who appreciated both the technical approach and the ambition behind the project. For KOVE, this was more than just a debut, it was a clear step into a new racing discipline, expanding the brand's competitive horizons.
